Scholarship Rules

1. Scholarships will be paid only to the teacher/schools on the ICES Approved Teacher list.
2. If there is a teacher that you would like to see on the approved list, please give him or her a Teacher Application Form to fill out and mail to the Scholarship Chariman. Teachers can only be approved by the Scholarship Committee and the President.
3. Tuition will be paid directly to the teacher/schhol or you, the recipient with proper receipts.
4. The award form must be filled out and sent to the treasurer with receipts, so that she or he can issue funds for the class. You may make as many copies of the form as you need.
5. You must use at least 75% of your award for classes. The remaining 25% may be used for equipment, room/board, or other expenses incurred with the class. But you must have receipts to verify those expenses and turn them in to the treasurer.
6. Scholarship requirement after taking the class: You will be required to do one demo at any ICES function, which pertains to the class subject matter. If you are taking multiple classes only one demo is necessary.
7. A scholarship is good for one year from the convention at which it is announced.
8. You must forward a signed copy of this form to the Scholarship Chairman before you may use your ICES scholarship.
