ICES HALL OF FAME
It is an honor to be placed in the ICES Hall of Fame. An inductee is someone who promotes ICES, cake decorating, and related arts through many different means. Some considerations when nominating is their teaching, sponsoring, promoting, encouraging, devotion, and contributions to teachers, cake shows, and ICES. The inductee may be an author and may even introduced a new product or technique that is shared by many. In the end, the inductee has shared in such a way that other decorators have been able to grow. The following guidelines for choosing Hall of Fame Inductees was approved by the ICES Board of Directors in April 2007:
-
Nominee is not required to be an ICES member. The Nominator, however, must be a current ICES member in good standing to submit an application for the Hall of Fame award.
-
Nominee may be alive or deceased.
-
Honoree should be a well-known, highly respected person in the decorating field.
-
Persons serving on the Board of Directors are not eligible to be nominated during their term.
